Good Ergonomics Posture Should Be Taught During Childhood
Computers are a way of life today and our kids are using them at very early ages in school and at home. Some chiropractors are performing back spasm treatment on young kids who are suffering from the effects of working at computers and playing video games using bad posture. The problem is most of the computer desks and computer chairs are designed for adults not kids. It is no surprise that we are being faced with how to cure Carpal tunnel syndrome in children today. 
Just about half of elementary age children use cheap computer workstations and desk that put their little body's posture at risk. Computer Ergonomics education and trainings should start as a child when they being using the computer for learning. Poor ergonomic posture and work habits caused by computer chairs and desks that are too large for a child in their growing years and can have harmful physical effects to your child's wellness.
What can you do for your child’s ergonomic wellness?
Make sure to purchase adjustable ergonomic chairs and office equipment that can be modified to fit your child's body. Make sure the computer screen is not too high, but rather at their eye level.
Make the task chair fit your child better. We suggest the use of back cushions in ergonomic chairs as a way to take up excess seat space so that your child's knees don't touch the front of the seat, which could restrict blood flow to the lower legs. A chair cushion for back support will lead to good posture at least while your child is sitting in the chair.
Furthermore, your child's feet can be placed on a foot rest, box, or some similar object so that the pressure on your child's knees will be less. Feet just handing with no support may lead to joint pain.e
Make sure these ergonomic home chairs have adjustable height arms that will support their elbows as well as keeping their arms positioned near their own body while they are working on the computer keyboard. 
Proper lighting can make reading easier and prevent eye strain.
Limit their time at the computer, make them take breaks for stretching their back and legs.
These same tips need to be relayed to the educators at your children's schools also because good skills in ergonomic posture early will prepare the way for a healthy lifestyle and form good work habits that carry into adulthood.
